Food From The Bar Donations to Aid Harvesters

Dysart Taylor and the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City are joining together for the annual Food From The Bar drive to support Harvesters non-profit food bank. A food collection barrel will be in our office from April 4 through May 2. Clients, colleagues and friends are welcome to drop off donations of canned goods, minute rice, dry pasta, pasta sauce, cereals or peanut butter.

Monetary donations can be made online at Food From The Bar virtual food drive or by sending a check directly to Harvesters. We appreciate your support in this fight against hunger!

As Kansas City area’s only food bank, Harvesters is a clearinghouse for the collection and distribution of food and related household products. Their network includes more than 620 nonprofit agencies throughout a 26-county direct service area, including emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes, homes for the mentally disable and shelters for battered persons. The network provides food assistance to as many as 66,000 different people each week. Harvesters is a certified member of Feeding America.
